How can I update Office 2000 to Office XP

I just upgraded to a new computer with Office XP and I would like to use my
Microsoft Office 2000 with Word and Power Point. Is it possible to download
updates for XP or do I have to purchase a new package^

I presume you meant that you have a new computer with WINDOWS XP, not Office
XP. To upgrade to Office XP, you would need to purchase the suite at
retail. However, you would be better served by purchasing Office 2003 as XP
is no longer sold at full retail. You may, however, be able to find some
few copies using online resellers. Office 2003 is the latest Office suite
and will be supported longer than Office XP.
