how can i use both exchange server and pop email

I have multiple clients and therefore multiple email accounts. Some are
exchange server and most are POP/smtp. I seem to understand that I cannot
use them both in outlook (can't send). How can I get access to all of my
acocunts?

If you are using a later version of Outlook, the answer becomes different.

Outlook 2003 best serves this functionality allowing for multiple accounts.
Exchange will be the default, but you can select an alternate account to
send when you send an email.
When you reply, it will reply with the account that the email came in on.
