How can I view a blocked graphic in Outlook. R-Click doesn't work?

I am using Outlook 2003 and the email is from a MAC user. Very often graphics
(i.e. logos) show up as the box with an X. When I right click the box I do
not get the option to download the graphic and there is no header on the
message to allow downloading of graphics. This particular graphic is in the
signature if that makes a difference. I do not want to change my security
setting to allow all graphics to display. Any ideas?

Only pictures that need to be retrieved from the Internet are blocked by
default. Pictures that have been embedded in the email (like in your case)
are not blocked. When you see a red X it means that either the pictures was
improperly added, is in an incompatible format or got lost along the way by
for instance improper mail conversion at mail server level.

At this point, there is nothing you can do about the picture not showing in
the received email.

My guess is that the sender used a local URL to point at their image
file. You don't have their computer or their hard drive under the same
drive letter with the file in the same path as does the sender, so the
image was never included. It is a reference to a file that was local on
the sender's host and is unavailable anywhere else. The sender needs to
embed the image, not link to it. Or the sender needs to put the image
file someone on online storage and use a link to it there.

When I replied to the email they said it showed up fine on the reply so as
you and Roady have implied it would seem to be improperly inserted.

Thanks for the help.
