I received a zip file...a photo that appears to be a WIN WORD doc. For some
reason i can not view it. Maybe the person who sent it has a much newer
program?
I have received other photos but this one is not viewable. Any help would be
appreciated.

A zip file is a compressed file format which can contain multiple files.
Word has no facility to open a zip file. You need to extract the image from
the zip before you can view it. You can do this with recent versions of
Windows or with a zip utility such as WinRar or WinZip.

The exception is Windows 2007 DOCX format which is a type of zipped file,
which can be opened by zip utilities - such as WinRar (and probably WinZip)
and certainly if you change the DOCX extension to ZIP - see
