How can we connect to Project Server

Hi all,

I want to create a macro in VB that automatically start Project Professional
in hidden mode and connect to the Project Server without showing any screen
to the user.

Is there any way to do this.

Thanks in Advance

Naveen,
Although most of the MVPs do check all project newsgroups, this question
would be better posted on our sister newsgroup:
microsoft.public.project.developer.

But just fro starters, here is my assessment. Although you mention
"macro", doing what you want will require a procedure generated in a
standalone version of Visual Basic (i.e. VB6 or VB.net). If done in VBA,
the application [Project Pro] itself would have to be opened in order to
run the macro - not what you want. Other than that I don't see any
reason you can't do what you want, but I've never done it so my
knowledge in that area is limited. Hopefully someone will see your post
in the developer newsgroup and have more specific suggestions or perhaps
even some sample code.
