how can you delete a user from project server?

When I try to delete a user, I get the error:
"Request Status : 106"

Does anyone know how to delete a user from the server database?

What steps are you taking to delete the user? And, are you sure you really
want to delete the user, rather than just setting them to Inactive?

Oh yes, I want to delete them.
They no longer work for my company.
Anyway, I'm using IE to access the MS Project Server Portal.
I'm going to "Admin" tab, then to "Clean Up Project Server Database".
Then, I select the "Resource" I want to delete and click "Delete".

I always get the same error: "Request Status : 106"

I have to say, I don't know what would cause the error. It seems you are
following the right procedure. Perhaps someone else knows the cause. I
presume you did not have the Enterprise Resource Pool open at the time, and
that you have rights to delete users.

I do still think that you may wish to reconsider your reasons for deleting
the resource. If that resource has done any project work (reported actuals),
the best practice is to mark him as Inactive instead of deleting him. That
preserves the details of the project work he did in the past while preventing
him from being assigned to any future work. It also removes him from the
calculation of licensed users.
