How can you sort/order project information

In the "Project Information" dialog box for the enterprise custom fields
there must be a way to sort or arrange an order in which the fields are
displayed.

Does anyone know how this can be done?

I do not believe there is any way to sort or change the order of the fields.
The system automatically arranges the list of fields with required first
listed first, and then non-required fields listed second, and sorts the
fields in each section in a specific order by the type of field. Within
each section, the (required vs. non-required), the system displays the
fields in this specific order:

Cost
Date
Duration
Outline Code
Flag
Number
Text

For each field type, the system displays the fields in alphatbetical order,
with Cost1 before Cost2, etc. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your quick response, at least now I know the logic (Microsoft
Logic that is) behind the order.

Perhaps this could be suggested as an improvement, mind you I have no idea
where to make the suggestion.
