How can you upload your own Microsoft Visio stencil?

Do you know how to upload your own Microsoft Visio stencil?
(tried 'templates' but that seems not to accept that is created in Visio)

Stencils have vss or vsx extension, templates have vst or vtx extension.

Are you trying to open a custom stencil you created? You can open for
editting by going to the toobar >File>open>stencil and look for your file.
Typically it is in My Documents > My Shapes directory.

If you want to use it as a source for shapes with a drawing then you can go
to the toobar > shapes icon > My Shapes and select your stencil.
