how can you use Access for business on a network%3f

i have made a database in Access for a business, and the business now wants
to get rid of it because they say it will be too much hassel to put this onto
the network for everyone to use. please advise me how easy or difficult

You need to split the database into front/back ends, put the back end on the
server and give each user their own front end. No hassle at all really.
Search the help for "split database".

Remember though that there are security implications for your data in such
an environment that you would need to address, unless you want all and
sundry to be able to edit, add and delete data (and indeed the back end
file).

Depending on the number of users, it may be as simple as placing it on the
LAN and moving on. If you have more than a few users accessing the file at
one time, I'd probably create a front-end version of the database that
contains all the forms, queries, and reports, but no actual data. I'd put
the data only on the LAN and then link the front-ends to that data. This is
called 'splitting the database'.

In either case, very little work.
