How: change my Outlook Journal view from timeline to a "roster"

I just had my operating system re-installed and my setting for Outlook
Journal have to be reset. But I cannot remember how to change the view in
journal form the default "timeline" view to the roster or grid that looks
like an Excel spreadsheet.

The help menus weren't too helpful on this.

Can depend on the version of Outlook which you haven't mentioned.
Try via the Advanced toolbar. Right-click on your standard toolbar and
choose Advanced to show it.
