How come I can't insert an address into my envelope tab?

I'm working in Office 2007. When I go into the envelope tab there is no tab
which indicates I can insert an address from an address book or anything. Is
there some other way to insert addresses into my envelope function so that I
do not have to keep retyping addresses???

Word>Mailings>Envelopes
Sometimes it takes a while for the Envelopes and Labels window to open

Bob,
I dont have the Address Book button in the envelope dialogue box.

You have a version of Office that includes Outlook, and not Home and Student
edition?

You don't have Outlook? Then perhaps you may Copy, Paste, from which
ever e-mail system you are using instead.

all of my addresses are in WordPerfect address book and when I copy and paste
into my envelope tab it pastes everything like email addresses and phone
number and personal notes. UGH.....can't I bring over my addresses from
WordPerfect? Will it convert?

No idea, I haven't used WordPerfect in over a decade, but I don't recall
WordPerfect being an e-mail program either. Perhaps you may export them
as a CSV file and then import in to Outlook Contacts?

Is there anyway to get any address book working in my envelope tab??? How do
I get the Outlook address book there? I have an Office version which
includes Outlook.

Is Outlook the default E-mail program in Internet Options? In Outlook
does the Contacts folder have any entries? Has anything been set up in
Outlook at all?

Pretty difficult to use the integrated Office features if you don't use
the Office components that provide them.
