How come my Logo's show up inverted with 2003 word?

I have documents created that have our company logo's in the header on the
top of the page. With our old word 97 viewer the logo's come up correctly.
When we view the documents in word 2003, the logo's come up inverted and
backwards. What can we do to the documents so that the logo's show up
correctly.
