how come the software freezes when I hit save as?

I tried the cut and paste method to solve this delay issue with saving.

Should it or I woudl rather say, did the process produce immediate fix?
Because I did the process and still experienceed a delay.....Be not as long
as ususall, but there was still a delay nonetheles.
