how come when i use a colum marker i get an indentend paragraph

when i use a marker to write a colum, the sententece wraps around and forms a
indent for a paragraph. what am i doing wrong?

I would like to answer your question if I understood it. What sort of
"marker" are you using to "write" a column? Are we talking about
newspaper-style columns or table columns?
