How convert a split database ?

When converting a split database (from 97 to 2000), do I
have to convert the data portion first, or does it not
matter? Or, will Access convert both portions
automatically?

Hi David,

Convert the front end first. Later version front ends work perfectly
happily with Access 97 back ends; in fact this is the way to cope when
different users have different versions of Access.
