How create a report looks like spreadSheet

I'm trying to create a report that is taking from a sales query. the query
has monthly and yearly sales. I want to have the years to be in the report
header such as 2000, 2001,...etc and down to that the related months of every
year.
when I tried the grouping it worked but not a spreadsheet like.

After you have successfully grouped the values in a query, use that query to
build a crosstab query, and build the report from the crosstab.
