a: A message with a blank content is likely to be rejected or ignored. The
subject line is just for a brief description, and the detail (which is sadly
lacking in this message) should be in the message body.
b: Postings all in UPPER CASE are regarded as SHOUTING, and a breach of
netiquette.
c: Dates within Excel are stored as numbers, so in general it can't
distinguish between a date and another number. You may be able to
distinguish an integer from a non-integer number (which would represent a
date and time). You may be able to define a rule such as dates in the 21st
century or within another window.
d: If you are adding two dates, such as 22 Sep 2007 and 23 Sep 2007, do you
want the result to appear as 16 Jun 2115 or as 78695?
