How create text block that disappears on first typeover?

I've noticed that wizards create some text blocks that disappear when a
single character is typed over it, while other text blocks are normal, i.e.
you have to select the entire block before it will disappear by typing a
single character.

Does anyone know how to create that kind of text block that cannot be edited
(and disappears with any attempt to edit)?

Thanks.

Apart from by copying and pasting wizard-generated text boxen, this is
not possible. This feature, like Synchronization, is not exposed through
the UI (or the object model).

Could you briefly describe the 'synchronization' feature? (I've probably
wanted it before.) Is it where you'd like two text boxes (or two spots) to
automatically mimic each other? (Or instantly duplicate changes made to its
'twin' or 'clone'?) Or is the feature something else?

Yes, it is. It is present in text boxes in some templates, but once
again is not accessible to users outside of copy/paste.
