Bill
I have a situation where I need to determine the table (source) for
the fields that appear on ms access 2000 reports.
I've been handed the database and there are 75+ tables, 140+ queries,
160+ reports. Ok, it is a mess. As part of a project to simplify
things, I need to document the reports by listing the fields on the
report and from what table they come from.
I cannot figure out how to do this. Selecting a field and getting its
properties has something that looks helpful (Control Source), but it
only has the field name. Expanding it (via ...), shows all of the
tables, queries, reports, etc. but it doesn't show which table the
field is actually being sourced from.
Can you help? Is it even possible?
My thanks in advance.
