How do I accept redline changes in a delta view document

T

Tonya

I originally typed my document in word and use the redlining feature.
Someone uses delta view. How do I accept their changes without having to go
in each time and change the font color, etc? Thanks

You might want to ask in a Delta View newsgroup or ask the person who made
these changes.

I use deltaview routinely.

Unfortunately you can not mass accept/reject changes. You will need to
change each one.

That is what I was afraid of. Thank you.

One more thing, is DeltaView strictly a compare program? How do you accept
redlines if you originally do a document in DeltaView and someone else does
it in word and it comes back to you?

Thanks

The person with DeltaView should send you both the final document with the
markup removed and the markup document showing the changes.

DeltaView is strictly a compare application. I use it when people use track
changes and the microsoft compare software doesn't work (Although just
upgraded to Word 2003 and its compare has worked well). DeltaView has never
failed me!

We use versions.... that way I can use track changes on what I've done, send
it out-of-house and when I receive it back, I save theirs (being in track
changes) as version 2. Then I use deltaview to compare the two documents,
make a version 3 and accept/reject their track changes. I only use Delta
View for what it is intended for and do not send it out for people to work
in... "might as well send them a pdf if you send the DV doc"

Hope this helps!
