How do I activate Office when internet connection can't be found?

I have trial Teacher Edition of Office. When I try to use an unable to find
connection message pops-up. I have no probs clicking on Internet Explorer to
see I do have a connection.

Can you please tell me if you bought the Product ID and converted the
product to a full version ?If yes and try the steps below..

- Search for 'OPA11.DAT' file (this is the file for the Activation
Wizard)
- Rename it to 'OPA11.OLD'
- Restart the computer (It should regenerate the file once we try
activating Office again)
- Try Activating.

Hi Reycsena,

Unfortunately the trial copies of MS Office don't have
telephone activation support mentioned in another message.
Unlike the retail copies of MS Office trial copies require
an online connection for activation. If you are running
a firewall/security product it may not be allowing the
MS Office activation process through the firewall, check
the settings or temporarily disable the firewall and
see if you can complete the connection.
