How do I activate Out of Office Assistant if missing from Tools?

I have Windows XP Professional. In past Outlook versions I was able to use
Out of Office Assistant with no problem, but now I cannot find it in this
Outlook version. I have tried the Add In Manager, but that did not work.
Please help!! :)

Do you mean you have MS Office XP? Out of Office Assistant is only
operational if you connect to Exchange Server.

Although you don't mention what version of Outlook you are using, as far as I
know Out of Office is always listed on the Tools drop down menu.

Sorry, I had a brain freeze and didn't notice you specified it was missing
from Tools.

If you're not connected to an Exchange server you won't have the OOA, since
it's a function of Exchange.
