How do I add a field to the "available fields" list for a view?

Do you know if there is a way to make a field available for a view if it’s
not currently in the view list of available fields in the view creation form?
I want to add Duration to the My Tasks View, but they don’t have it there as
an option. They just have Duration1 thru Duration10, which are not populated
with anything. Thanks.

There is no way to do this unfortunately.

A possible work around is to put in a macro that on the save event copies
your durations from the duration field to one of the local duration 1 - 10
fields. Then display that local duration field in My Assignments view.
