how do I add a functioning time display in a visio document?

Have a simple visio document and I want to add some simple clocks showing
various time throughout different time zones.

You can add text fields to shapes that display the current time. This could
be customized further to add or subtract a few hours to calculate the time
in a different time zone. Visio refreshes time fields every few seconds.
