how do i add a hidden note to text in word

Im doing an IC3 course and i have to add a hidden note to certin words but i
cant find out how to do it, its not even coming up in office help, does
anyone know how to do it.
p.s i have office 2007

I don't know what IC3 is but if this is part of an assignment, have you
tried asking the instructor?
