How do i add additional info to a floppy disk?

I'm not sure what you're asking but if you copy the updated file to the disk
it will overwrite the existing file.

If you mean to add more data to a spreadsheet, it is not recommended that
you save to or open a spreadsheet directly from a floppy disk. Copy the
file to your hard drive, open it there, add the data and save to the hard
drive. Then finally copy to the floppy disk.

I am not too well upon the inner workings but I believe that it is something
like, if you open a file directly from a floppy the computer does not
actually open the file, it marks it as unreadable and creates a copy of the
file and it isthis copy that is opened. If anything goes wrong with the
process then you will not have an original file to go back to so you will
have lost your data. By copying it you will always have the
original, untouched file, to go back to.

Try a Google search for "Do not open directly from a floppy"

what i wanted and giving me the answer. Respect .
