How do I add adobe distiller icon to my Word toolbar?

I am using Windows XP and MS Office XP - with live updates so it's all up to
date. I bought and installed Adobe Acrobat Distiller 5.0 and the accompanying
utilities. I want to add the adobe distiller icon to my MS Word toolbar (as I
have done on other computers in the office using the same OS) so I can
efficiently create PDF from my Word documents. However, I can't see where or
how to add the icon. The option to add the icon doesn't appear when I look in
Tools>Customise>Toolbars.

I have succesfully added the icons to two computers so I'm stumped why I
can't add to this one too! One weird feature with the two I have successfully
installed: if I have Oulook open before I open up Word, the Adobe icons don;t
appear in my Word toolbar! I have open Word first then Oultook for it to be
successful.

Would love some help on these two issues. Thanks.

The second question is easy to answer. Acrobat updates the toolbars and menu
each time Word starts up, by running the AutoExec function in the Acrobat
add-in. AutoExec functions don't necessarily run if Word is started by
another application, such as Outlook. Nuisance, eh?

The first question is more troubling. Normally these icons are added
automatically and you shouldn't have to do anything at all. Have you checked
if the icons are added, but hidden? Right-click any toolbar and you'll get a
drop-down list of all the available toolbars, with ticks against those
actually displayed. See if PDF is in the list with no tick.

It is usually quite difficult to get rid of the Acrobat toolbar - let alone
not have it appear. But the add-in does have to be in the correct Office
startup folder for Word to see it, and that depends on the Office version.

Word's macro security could prevent the macros in a template in the *Office*
startup folder from being run if you have the security level set to High.
Set it to medium and when you get the prompt about macros tell Word to trust
them.
