How do I add an attachment from my favorites?

A

Airfix 9

Have just been migrated to Outlook 2003 and it seems to be missing a vital
functionality.

When I wish to send a file (e.g. an Excel file), I wish to use my Favourites
to select the folder that contains the file but there doesn't appear to be a
button to assist me in this. Is this something that is missing generally or
has my Outlook been incorrectly installed. I have noticed a new "My Recent
Documents" button, but this is useless if I want to send a file that I
haven't been working on so recently.

I have spent a lot of time organising favourite folders in Office and it
seems ludicrous that I can't use that functionality to send files that I work
on to colleagues using the new Outlook issue.

I have tried the Help function, but it is - as usual - frustrating in its
lack of information.

Many thanks,

Chris Jones

You can add the Favorites or any favorite folder to the Places Bar. Outlook
doesn't include it because Favorites generally means Internet favorites and
it's less than useful for the majority of people.
