how do i add an html code for a ticker in my signature?

I have outlook 2007 and I am trying to create a signature with a ticker in
it. When I paste the HTML code, it simply displays that text in my outgoing
message. Yes, I HAVE the message format set to HTML format.

You need to insert the rendered format of your HTML code. Put the HTML
in a HTML editor like FrontPage, the copy the Preview and paste it into
your target document.

Thanks. I got the picture[ticker] to show up [could do that before] by just
copying and pasting it, but wasn't sure if it was really "working" as in if
it was actually counting down, or just a copy of the pic/ticker that would
always be stuck on the same day.

Can you believe that Office 2007 Pro did not come with Frontpage. I don't
think that a frontpage 07 exists, so I couldn't try copying it from the
preview on that, so I just copied it from a previous e-mail from before I
switched to Outlook. It is almost midnight, so I will be able to compose a
new e-mail soon to see if it counted down my ticker.

If it did not, I suppose I will be looking for another program that does
HTML codes.

FrontPage has been replaced by Microsoft Expression Web and SharePoint
Designer, neither of which is a part of Office. However, there are plenty of
other HTML editors out there in cyberspace, many freeware or shareware.

Thanks Jocelyn, I will have to try a freeware version because I checked this
morning and my ticker did not count down. What I used last night though, was
Microsoft Publication on the Web Publication choice and I posted the HTML
code into it and when I click in "preview as webpage" the ticker works and
counts down. That is where I copied and pasted from---the "previewed"
webpage....

I just wish Outlook would support inserting the HTML code like Hotmail did!
