How do I add an interval or milestone to a timeline so that it ap.

I am trying to add an interval to a timeline so that it appears below the
timeline. The default timeline shape is such that it can only go above the
timeline. I am using Microsoft Visio Professional 2002 SR-1. I tried to
unlock and rotate the shape, but was unable to do this.
