How do I add an option for my attendees to add the appointment to.

I am trying to create an RSVP web page. I want to be able to post a section
where our invitees can click on the RSVP button and it automatically asks if
they want to add it to their outlook calendars and send us an email that they
will be attending our evet. Is this possible?

Sure. Create a meeting request and send it to required attendees. See
http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/pickmeeting.htm for the basic method but
instead of emailing it, copy it to the web server and link to it.
