How do I add column borders?

I am trying to create a wedding invitation, using two columns to save paper.
how do i get a border for each column

If you have Word 2000 or above, you can use the "2 pages per sheet" option
in the Page Setup dialog (NOT the one in the Print) dialog and then treat
each half sheet as a separate page, including adding page borders.
