How do I add '# of pages' to the preset field in a 'border'

When I drag a predesigned border onto a page in Visio (Business Process/Audit
diagram/ US units) there is a field that contains the Page number. I would
like to add 'total number of pages' so it reads Page 1/X. I can pick one or
the other, but can't fogure out how to have both in there.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Insert 2 fields into the text
pagenumber() and pagecount()

I'm not sure which shape you are referring to, but the ones I checked were
group shapes and when you attempt to select the page number text, it selects
the group text (the title at the top)

You can select the shape by clicking on it and then clicking on the page
number (the page number is in a small box with small gray boxes in the
corners). If you start typing, it will eliminate the current text so you
will have to reenter the page number. The page number and page count are
entered by using Field... from the Insert menu.

If you are doing this for several pages, you should add the borders and
titles to a background page and attach this background page to the
foreground pages. Any references to page number placed on a background page
will reflect the page number of the foreground page it is attached to.
(background pages do not print, they must be attached to a foreground page)
