How do I add Powerpoint to homeuse Basic 2003 package?

I would like to convert my preloaded Microsoft Basic Office Edition 2003 to
Microsoft Standard Office Edition 2003 by adding Powerpoint 2003 to my
existing Office software. My PC is is for personal home use only and not for
business. I am presently a UK Open University student and the need for making
Powerpoint files of my own has become necessary this year. I realize that
there is a free Powerpoint 2003 viewer download, but this, as far as I know
right now, does not allow production of new personal Powerpoint files. As far
as I can tell right now, the conversion of Basic-to-Standard is not
available, unless Microsoft or somebody on this board can tell me differently.

You would need to purchase a "Full Version" of PowerPoint 2003
and install it.
