how do i add the calendar icon to the favorite folders pane?

I had my calendar icon/folder in my favorite folders pane and it has suddenly
disappeared. Can anyone tell me how to get it back? I still have it on the
bottom bar navigation pane, but I want the ability to quickly drag and drop
items into it in my favorite folders pane as well.

Right click on it and choose "Add to Favorite Folders"

Thank you - that did not work but I have since discovered the answer myself.
By clicking the folder icon the calendar pops back in the navigation bar.
