How do I add the correct number of the same resources to a task?

I"ve got a task duration of 36 hours. However, I have 4 workers that make up
that 36 hours equalling 9 man hours per work. How do I add a column to the
Gant Chart showing the total number of workers that makes up the total number
of man hours in a task?

Hello Damon,

It sounds as though you may be confusing Duration (difference
between a task's start and finish) and Work (person hours).

I'm not sure if you have:

- a 9 hour duration task being performed by 4 people each working
9 hours each for a total of 36 hours of work. If all of your 4
resources can work at the same time it should only take 9 hours from
beginning to end.

or
- a 36 hour duration task being performed by 4 people each working
9 hours but not working together.

Either way, you can add the [Work] field to the table (left side) to
show the total amount of work. You may also find it useful to look
at the resource assignments in the Task Usage view.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
