How do I allow users to add comments to at a Task-Day level?

In Project Web Access, I would like to allow users to add comments concerning
the hours they entered per task. At the View my tasks page, I'd like users
to be able to add a comment at the Task/Day level. Can this be done?

Sorry, this can't be done in PWA. Some people export their timesheets to
Excel and then insert comments in each day's cell. Another method is to use
the Note function in PWA. Each note is timestamped, so if the resource
enters time and a note each day, then there will be a reconcilable record.
There is, however, a limit to the total size of the note. I have been told
it is 5K bytes, which is a lot of text.

Hi,
Notes would be one way to do that.
You can however customize the timesheet to include an additional text based
custom field such that resources can edit it. (Published Fields)
This field will allow users to fill in what ever information they want at
task level.
