How do I alphabetiize an existing list

I have Word 2002 and cannot find how to alphabetize list that I create. Can
anyone tell me how to do this.

Select text then Table > Sort. This will sort by paragraph.

Thanks for your reply. It worked. I had to select the entire list content
first, but that did it...
