How do I ask a question about using the forums?

I want to ask a couple of general questions about how to do things in the
office discussion groups, not in one of the specific programs. I'm using
Office General Questions because I couldn't see anywhere else where this
would fit.

Is there a way to sort the responses by date?

Don't use the forums. Where you actually are is in a web interface to a
newsgroup. You should use a newsgroup reader to access. Outlook Express,
Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail and a lot of other programs are available as
newsgroup readers. Google for information on installing and using. The
newsgroup you are accessing is microsoft.public.office.misc and probably is
a good place to ask general questions about Office programs. If a specific
newsgroup would be better for a specific question you will be guided to that
location.
