How do I assign more than one skill to one single Resource

I want allocate labour to tasks depending upon the skill required to do the
task. Most of the times one person may have more than one
skill/certification. How di I assign various skills to one person and view
the skills and than assign to the resource to the task.

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

There is no direct way to do this in Project Standard. You will have to use
the Notes field in the Resource List view to record skill levels. However,
I believe there is some facility for skilling in Projet Professional version
utilizing Project Server.
