How do I assign multiple calenders to a project

Hi there I am hoping someone can help me, I am experiencing a problem M
projects 2007. I want to assign multiple calenders to my project ie,
want have standerd calender and a 24 hr calender assigned to the to sam
project, where I have about half my activities on a standerd calende
and the the other half on a 24 hr calender.

When I assign my the 24 hr calender to my certain activities, i
assigns the 24 hr calender but the duration still remainds 5 days wher
it should change to about 2 days with a 24 hr calender assigned to it
Can someone help me please, thank

You might want to check your resource calendar as well. If the resource is
working a 5x8 calendar and the activity is on the 24 hr calendar it will only
be able to schedule the job when the resource is available.

Hi,

The true duration will be exact.
It goes on displaying the same number of days because that is defined by
tools, Options, Calendar, Hours per day, which is a constant for the
project.

But the schedule is right.
