How do I attach an Excel worksheet to a thread without including personal information

I have a question about an Excel worksheet...and I want to attach th
worksheet to a thread. How can I clear my NAME off of the worksheet s
that I can attach it without divulging personal information?

I am specifically referring to the PROPERTIES section of the file.

The file shows my name as AUTHOR on the SUMMARY page...and also, m
name appears after LAST SAVED BY: on the STATISTICS page.

Is there any way I can attach this file...or even send it t
people...-without- having my name on the file

Go to Tools>Options>General and enter a bogus user name.

Open your workbook, right-click on a sheet tab, "select all sheets".

Right-click on a sheet tab a nd "move or copy". Check the "create a copy" box
and "to book" new book.

File>Save As>enter a name and OK.

This file will now have the bogus user name as Author and Last Saved By.

Having answered this part of your question, I would like to state that
attachments are discouraged in these News Groups. Fear of virus etc.

If you have a problem, describe it with some sample data or formulas that
aren't working.

What is happening vs what do you want to happen.
