I can test the interview in publisher, but when I preview it, it is not there.

Is there a special format for attaching mp3 interview in Publisher so that
it can be attached to my website?

In preview is does not show up.

Thanks for you help.

I have tried all suggestions. One error I noticed was the file was not mp3.
I changed to mp3.

www.abusinessintention.com

When uploading to my website using FTP, I could see the file being uploaded.
However, it still does not show up on the page. Is there something special
I have to do in publisher to get this right.

Godaddy says it is a publisher issue.

This is very frustrating.

Please help.

Read the article again and especially how to write the link correctly. The
answer is there. Your link is written incorrectly.

You upload your file to your host and remember where you put it, then write
the link to where it is on your host...not on your computer. Mouseover the
link to the mp3 file and look at the status bar, and you will see that it is
looking to your hard drive for the file.

If you upload your mp3 file to a subfolder that you create on your site
called "downloads", then the link would be:
http://www.abusinessintention.com/downloads/yourfile.mp3

Leave out spaces, special characters etc in your file name...and watch the
case.

David,

Thanks for staying with me on this. I seemed hopeless at first. Now I can
see the light an the end of the tunnel.

Now that it is on my webpage, www.abusinessintention.com, I am getting a
security alert message
"Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded".

How can I get this fixed and what stops it from occuring again.

Thanks David for all your help.

You rock!

I am sorry, but I don't see any change in the way the link is written to the
pdf. It still shows it written to ftp and your D drive I believe, and still
has spaces, etc.

DavidF,

You deserve a medal for your patience.

First, let me apologize for not responding earlier. I got tied up and did
not attempt to look at the issure for some time.

Suddenly I could remember your last statement regarding to nothing changing
and pointing to my library etc. and it clicked.

I went immediately to my computer and moved the mp3 file to the FTP and
referred to that file in publisher.

It worked on the first try.

David, thank you for your help and patience with me. I am getting better
with this stuff, thanks to you and your many response to others which I read.

Thanks again
