how do i automatically spellcheck words that are all in caps?

In Word 2003 and earlier, go to Tools > Options > Spelling & Grammar and
uncheck the box for "Ignore words in UPPERCASE".

In Word 2007, it's in Office button > Word Options > Proofing.
