How do I avoid the "not enough memory to display picture" - error

S

Steven

I embedded a few pictures (gif and jpeg) in a word doc, but after a few
imports, I always get the error message" There is not enough memory or disk
space to display or print the picture".

Word then just depicts the picture holders, and the pictures are
irretrievable.

The document is not that big (1Mb)

Thanks in advance.

Hey Steve, I had the same problem-
My solution, although not perfect, was to realize that word is not an image
management program, its a "word" program. To make a long story short, rather
than try to make word do something it doesn't want to do , I bought
"PictureIt 99", another Microsoft program and then pasted text in to create a
recipe book with images. it worked pretty well.
