There is a batch offering within PhotoDraw. That was one of the features I liked the most. Use the help to find more info on it.

How can I convert .mix files to .jpeg without opening each file seperately in PHOTODRAW?
Previous Posts In This Thread:
How do I batch convert photodraw mix to jpg?
We have over 400 files created in Microsoft PhotoDraw version 1 ".mix" format
files
They are on a PC using Windows XP and Office Premium 2000 (which included
PhotoDraw)
PhotoDraw is an easy to use and appropriately configured tool for our
purposes
Unfortunately it apparently is no longer supported by Microsoft
We can 1) Open a MIX file 2) select all 3) fit to selection 4) save as a JPG
file but this would be very time consuming
Is there a batch / macro routine that we can use to automate the 4-step
process described above
Regards.

Converting the files with PhotoDraw is you
best bet. Especially if the files are layered
There's a slight possibility that the evaluatio
version of PolyView may allow you to batc
reformat your .mix files. (doesn't work for al
..mix files and even then may produce a
unsatisfactory result if the files are layered..
but may be worth a try
You can download an evaluation copy at th
following link
PolyVie
www.polybytes.co
(Go to...Downloads / PolyView 4.38 Setu
Program
When you open PolyView...go to..
File / Format Conversions..
Browse to the folder your .mix files ar
saved in and open the drop window an
choose "All Files". (now the mix file
should be displayed
Left click the "Add All" button
Left click the "Continue" button..
Choose your "Destination Format" JPE
Enter your JPEG quality...10
Choose a "Destination Folder"..
Left click the "Start" button

Do you have PhotoDraw? What does the help file say about batch conversions?

It is almost impossible to find a .mix converter let alone a batch converter.
How are you opening these files
The only way I have found to view a .mix is to drag it to an early version of
Word, and I mean early, 2000 and below. There is a PhotoDraw newsgroup, not very
active, but someone over there might help
