How do i break page into 2 parts without repeating the background

I want to break my one page to two pages as it has become too long. if I add
a new page it repeats the entire background which I do not want to do. How do
I continue the same page in a new page with only the part of background not
covered
in first page.

Rather than creating a second page, you can stretch your page and it will
print over two pages. You will have to adjust the background page and if the
background page is shared, you may have to create a new background page.
