How do I build my own template for one note?

OneNote templates are just OneNote pages so to create one author a page the
way you want it, then while still on the page go to "<Format | Stationery>"
and from the very bottom of the task pane click "Save current page as
stationery" - give it a name and save. This will create "My Stationery" entry
in the task pane with your stationery as one of the options under it. Use as
any other stationery.

In case you feel more ambitious and want to distribute your beautiful
stationery pages to others do as follows:
Create new section, (say "XYZ")
Populate this section with the stationery pages you've authored (copy them
here)
Go to My Documents\My Notebook directory - pick XYZ.one file
Give to the person you like and instruct them to drop the file into
"Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates"

When I go to Format, I don't see an option for Stationary. Do I have a
different versio, or am I just looking in the right area? (I'm new to this
so I'm sorry if I cause you any frustration.)

Thanks,

It's me again. I believe I've figured it out. I was able to just rename the
files I orginally created in a notebook I created throught the Explorer
directory. I'm not sure if that was the 'right' way to do it, but I think
it'll work for me.

I also have a question concerning One Note. I'm wondering if it would be
possible to insert a calandar and within that calandar to have links that
would take you to subpages concerning that event, this would be helpful to me
in several ways.
(One of which is that I would like to make a meal schedule and plan out
dinners, and then make titles like "spaghetti and meatballs" linkable to
subpages that give recipes and ingredients for those meals...)
Anyway, if anyone knows how to do this it would be incredibly helpful. And,
if it can't be done on One Note, do you know how it can be done on one of the
other Microsoft Office (2007) programs.
Thx,
lm

Lauren,
Start on the page with the recipe. Select the title, right click and do
"Copy Hyperlink to this paragraph". Now, go to the calendar page and select
the menu item. Right click it and select "Hyperlink".

Hyperlink also works for links to documents on your hard drive, places on
the web, and anything else you can normally have a hyperlink to.

As for the calendar page set up, if I remember correctly there is a template
on Office Online that is just what you need.
