Hi,
I would like to know how to burn some photos to a DVD or CD disc. Which is
the better to use - CD or DVD? And do I have to download an application to do
this? I do have a DVD/CD burner, I just need some advice. It is the first
time to burning photos to disc. I have Nero StartSmart installed.
All replies are appreciated.
Thank you,
Jennifer

Totally depends on what you want to do with the photos once they are on
media.

If for storage it really doesn't matter. You can create either a data CD or
data DVD to store the images for safekeeping. Your Nero software can do
that.

If you want to show the pictures on a television as a slide show type movie
then you should create a DVD movie of the pictures (not all DVD players will
play a video CD.) To create a movie of the images you can use Photo Story 3
(free download from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx)
or Windows Movie Maker (included on XP and Vista OS) or any other video
creating program (one may have come with Nero but I am not sure but web site
indicates you do have something to create movies.) Once you have the movie
you then publish that movie to a DVD authoring program which can be played
by most standalone DVD players. This is where your Nero product probably
comes in.

Since you have Nero Smart, I was suggest reading the Help file for that
program.
