how do I buy Office 2000 Basic?

[2007 Home & Student Trialler]

I've been running Office 2007 Home & Student (Trial) and have decided that I
only really want Office 2007 Basic. My PC supplier (HP) referred me to
Microsoft and I've ended up here!
How do I buy/convert to the Basic version?

I would recommend using Amazon.com. After you get your disks, make sure you
uninstall the trial version before installing Basic.

Office Basic is only an OEM product SKU and Dell should be able to sell it to you.

Office 2007 Basic is only available OEM {see:

You could run Office Setup and make PowerPoint and OneNote unavailable to
uninstall the applications. Then if you want Outlook, Outlook is available
as a stand alone product for less than $100 from various sources such as
Amazon.com.
